beagle
beagle is the worst Linux crapware ever (writing Linux software in C# is stupidity defined).
beagle does not merit inclusion on Linux (Ubuntu wisely excludes it).
It runs as a daemon, crashes often, and you can count on it to waste CPU cycles.
To get rid of it:
rpm -e beagle
comment-out: /etc/cron.daily/beagle-crawl-system.cron
and/or change GNOME preferences: /System/Preferences/Searching & Indexing
